Travel
You’ll want to fly into Madrid-Barajas Airport (MAD) — it’s the closest major airport and super easy to get to from just about anywhere.
Getting to Toledo from Madrid-Barajas:
➢ Toledo is about 1 hour from the airport by Uber/Taxi or public transportation, and ~30 min from Madrid.
➢ An Uber/Taxi will drive you directly to Toledo.
➢ You can also take the 203 bus for 3 stops (30 min) to Atocha station and then a 30 min high-speed train direct from Atocha station to Toledo (tickets can be found here).

Getting Around
Toledo is wonderfully walkable… and charmingly hilly. Most of the historic city is best explored on foot (comfy shoes highly recommended — cobblestones don’t play!)
Uber is not available in Toledo, but traditional Taxis are a good option for getting around if you’re staying outside the city center or want to avoid uphill climbs in dress shoes. Availability inside the old town can be limited, so it’s best to call for taxi service from Taxi Central Toledo is +34 925 25 50 50.
Driving in the old town is difficult due to narrow streets and extremely limited parking, so we do not recommend renting a car unless you plan to stay outside of the old town.
For our wedding day, we’re looking into arranging group shuttles to make things easy. More details to come as we get closer.
